The Gospel today draws us into the intimate moment of Jesus’ prayer at the Last Supper, spoken just before His betrayal. In these words, we glimpse His heart and His deepest desire. Jesus reveals that the Will of the Father is for all people to know Him. Everything Jesus said and did throughout His life was directed towards this one purpose: to make God known and to draw humanity into a relationship of love with Him.

Jesus teaches us that to know God is eternal life. Eternal life is not only a promise for the future, but a way of living now — rooted in faith, trust, and communion with God. This is the mission that Jesus entrusts to His disciples. Like St Paul in the first reading, we are called to give everything we have so that others may come to know God. His life shows us what it means to surrender completely to this mission, allowing God to work through us for the sake of others.

We too are called to bear witness to God. Our faith is not meant to be hidden or kept to ourselves, but shared through our words, actions, and compassion. As we pray to become better reflections of God’s love in the world today, we also pray for all peoples to come together in solidarity, especially that all may have enough food.

O God, may our lives point others to You, and may our love become a sign of Your presence among us.

DAILY OFFERING
Eternal Father, I offer You everything I do this day; my thoughts, words, joys and sufferings. Grant that, vivified by the Holy Spirit and united to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, my life this day jul be of service to You and to others. I also pray that all those preparing for marriage discover in Sacrament the source of Christ's grace for living a fithful and fruitful love. Amen.

PRAYING WITH THE CHURCH
INTENTION
That everyone might have food.
Let us pray that everyone, from large producers to small consumers, be committed to avoid wasting food, and to ensure that everyone has access to quality food.
