更加不好要"貪污"的民主;"民盲"的民主;"貪圖享樂"的民主;"反智"的民主;"反文化"的民主;"以自我為中心"的民主......阿們。

怎樣的「民主」和「自由」,才是合乎基督徒的精神?
記得自己在幾年前,曾應人之請,為六四的十週年「草擬」過一篇彌撒經文。最後他們有沒有用,真是不得而知了。
當中,小弟亦曾費索思量:其實為六四的死難者獻彌撒,有甚麼意義呢?他們既不是教會意義下的「殉道者」,很多亦不是我們一般所理解的「基督徒」(當然並不排除他們當然有很多人,也許比很多基督徒做得更好)。為他們獻彌撒的時候,應該為他們向天主說些甚麼呢?或者這是一個很好的反省機會。
當然,任何自行編撰的禮儀經文,須得主教批准,方可合法使用。

Not bad at all!
I think the crux of the matter for most people here in HK is that those that perished in the movement are allegedly patriots who really cared for democracy.
Of course we cannot assumed ALL of them are like that, but there did exist such.
More importantly in my view, is to pray for those who perished for NOTHING - they neither stood for nor against the movement. They simply got killed. They must be shown God's mercy after death.
Whether they are for or against democracy is beside the point AT ALL. As Catholics, we should not treat them differently - they are ALL God's creation.
