A Roman Catholic priest, who has admitted having sex with one teen-age boy, was shot and wounded by a 26-year-old man who claimed the priest also molested him nine years ago. This was the first violent assault on an accused priest since the current church sex-abuse scandal erupted in Boston.
Even before this shooting, priests in the Baltimore archdiocese were becoming reluctant to wear their clerical collars outside the church after hearing of a Boston priest who had been SPAT ON in public!!!
