想問一個很蠢的問題,希望不要見笑。要笑也不要笑得太大聲。
「宗徒」的定義是甚麼?很久以前我以為是十二門徒,但後來發現聖保祿也被列入宗徒內。究竟是誰判斷誰是宗徒?

Not a stupid question at all!
I don't know the answer - may be anyone whom the Lord has 'passed on His teachings' is one such?
Paul always claimed to be so, and he was not very respectful of James, the head of the Church in Jerusalem.
Avoid being arrogant in claiming to be such is the most important issue.

宗徒是指曾與耶穌有直接的接觸,是耶穌生活的見証. 所以保祿也包括在內(在大馬士革與耶穌對話). 聖母更是耶穌第一個宗徒.

為基要派來說,宗徒(使徒)的名銜和數目對他們的影響更大。除了十二宗徒,還多聖保祿這個所謂宗徒,成了十三宗徒和以色列的十二支派對不上號,入不了座。在釋經上,產生了困難。
還有,那個馬第亞(Matthias)由拈鬮選出來代替猶達斯位置的,又加入了宗徒行列。(見宗1)問題來了,如果十二宗徒數目定要和十二支派數目對應,拈鬮選出來的馬第亞和主在大馬士革路上召叫的保祿,那個才算是補猶達斯位置的真命天子呢?
主教都是宗徒的繼承人,那麼是不是只應有十二位主教? 那麼〝教友宗徒〞,這名詞又是否有錯。
我看,大概宗徒這名詞,是有廣義和狹義之別吧.但關於釋經,十三宗徒的事實,相信聖經學者又有一番鍊腦力運動,會有另一番解釋吧。
