God's kingdom is for all ages, and God's dominion endures through all generation. Two thousand years after the birth of Christ we see with joy how that Church has endured through all the ages, in spite of the "dungeon, fire and sword" with which its enemies have frequently sought to destroy it. It is easy to see God's kingdom and dominion enduring across time. Since Jesus built His Church upon the rock of Peter, He has kept it according to His promise: "the gates of hell shall not prevail against it (Mt. 16:13-20).
Nowadays, we are more concerned to see God's kingdom as a kingdom for all races and cultures. We desire to see all of humanity accepting the dominion of God as the true answer to all human longing, the true meaning of that hidden power which all religions experience as the guiding of the world by a divine hand. Guided by the revelation of Jesus and the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, we believe that God's dominion and power is the power of justice and love.
Father in heaven, may Your kingdom come. May the power of Your justice and love be felt in all ages and across all generations. May Your presence be the light for all the nations, reveal the truth at the heart of every culture.
