God is infinitely wise and His experience is eternal. His love is without measure. That is why He can say, "I the Lord your God teach you what is for your good and lead you on the way you should go." According to Isaiah, God is our teacher. He teaches us through the commandments, the Scriptures and His Word - Jesus. He teaches us what is good and leads us where we need to go. No matter how old we may be, in relation to God we are like children. Without His guidance and protection we would be worse off than a little child trying to grow up without parents. Ignoring God's commandments can only make a shamblies of our lives. This was a bitter lesson the Jews had to learn, for their period of exile was a result of their disobedience.

Hence, let us be grateful to God because He loves us enough to guide and protect us through life by means of His commandments. The biggest mistake we can make is to say "No" to God. Those who follow the Lord will definitely have the light of life.

Lord, help us to appreciate Your teaching and guidance through Your Word and commandments. Amen.

DAILY OFFERING
Eternal Father, I offer You everything I do this day; my thoughts, words, joys and sufferings. Grant that, vivified by the Holy Spirit and united to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, my life this day may be of service to You and to others. I also pray that all those preparing for marriage discover in Sacrament the source of Christ's grace for living a fithful and fruitful love. Amen.
