The presence of Jesus in this world brings salvation. The blind man recovers his sight; and he is a true believer: he accepts what one cannot see. In Jesus of Nazareth, who walks towards Jerusalem to be crucified (Lk.18:31-34), the blind Man has recognized the Son of David and in the presence of the people he calls to Him "LORD" and appeals to His mercy.

He recovers his sight and the fact that he can see is the sign of his intimate enlightening by faith. Faith is what saves us humans, what changes us from mere seers, into disciples, believers, true Christians, followers of Christ.

Because of this saving power of God in Christ the Community glorifies Christ.

Son of David, have mercy on us! Help us with our faith in You to see more the meaning of what happens in our life!!

DAILY OFFERING
Eternal Father, I offer You everything I do this day; my thoughts, words, joys and sufferings. Grant that, vivified by the Holy Spirit and united to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, my life this day may be of service to You and to others. I also pray that all those preparing for marriage discover in Sacrament the source of Christ's grace for living a fithful and fruitful love. Amen.

PRAYING WITH THE CHURCH
