We can best understand the Holy Trinity as "a sharing community of persons", who share their lives with the created world of people and angels.

The notion of "being sent" to carry out a mission is exemplified in the Father sending His Son to be born of a woman, and at the same time both Father and Son send the Holy Spirit to impart their wisdom and love to all humankind. We in turn share it with our fellow human beings. And so, not only is it attested to in the Bible, but it is also logical to conclude that God sends His angels to serve humankind with the mission to enlighten, protect, direct and govern His creation with the authority and power He has invested in them.

The world of spirits, created by God should not be lightly brushed aside as some do in our materialistic world. They may be operating as guardians of individuals, nations, cities and groups of people; in a word, they participate in God's rule over the whole world of matter.

Heavenly Father, we accept in faith and childlike trust the ministration of our own Guardian Angel whom You have designated to lead us to the Promised Land. May we, like them, see You face to face and be everlastingly happy in the company of all the angels and saints in the life to come.

DAILY OFFERING
Eternal Father, I offer You everything I do this day; my thoughts, words, joys and sufferings. Grant that, vivified by the Holy Spirit and united to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, my life this day may be of service to You and to others. I also pray that all those preparing for marriage discover in Sacrament the source of Christ's grace for living a fithful and fruitful love. Amen.

PRAYING WITH THE CHURCH
INTENTION
That Sundays may be lived as the day on which Christians gather to celebrate the Risen Lord, participating in the Eucharist.
