The Risen Christ invites us to follow Him, for he is our only way to the Father: "I am the way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me." However, like the Apostle Thomas, we may sometimes ask Jesus, "Master, we do not know where you are going; how can we know the way?" For how is it possible to follow the Risen Christ who is not with us physically? Then again, Christ, who is love, is Emmanuel: "God with us." Thus, this presence of love (Jesus) indwelling in us is our guiding compass towards the God of life. He is the light that illumines our way to the Father. We can only attune ourselves to this holy presence of love within us through constant prayer and acts of charity. This is the Easter message of the Risen Lord to us: "Walk with me in the way of love."
Lord Jesus, grant me the grace to walk with You always in the way of love.

DAILY OFFERING

Eternal Father, I offer You everything I do this day; my thoughts, words, joys and sufferings. Grant that, vivified by the Holy Spirit and united to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, my life this day may be of service to You and to others. I also pray that all those preparing for marriage discover in Sacrament the source of Christ's grace for living a fithful and fruitful love. Amen.
