"Be rooted in Him... Make sure that no one captivates you with the empty lure of a philosophy." St. Paul cautions us to be on guard against popular ideologies. On the contrary, he invites us to be captivated by the love of Our Lord.

Our Lord's actions flowed from his bountiful love, love that impelled him to empty himself on the cross. Every time we look at the cross we see him, who is an embodiment of this sacrificial love. He invites us to continue in our own lives to personify his great love.

The billions of faithful, irrespective of the various Christian denominations, are manifestations of Our Lord's transforming and self-emptying love. No ideology or philosophy has outlived the love that Our Lord has shown for us.

Lord, may we be passionately moved by your love and be inspired to be the living presence of Your transforming love.

DAILY OFFERING
Eternal Father, I offer You everything I do this day; my thoughts, words, joys and sufferings. Grant that, vivified by the Holy Spirit and united to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, my life this day may be of service to You and to others. I also pray that all those preparing for marriage discover in Sacrament the source of Christ's grace for living a fithful and fruitful love. Amen.

PRAYING WITH THE CHURCH
INTENTION
That people today, often overwhelmed by noise, may rediscover the value of silence to the voice of God and their brothers and sisters.
