Most of us fear death or at least try not to think of it. But Wisdom invites us to look a bit deeper. Those who die are not being punished, and the struggles of this life are merely tests or learning experiences. The righteous are in the hands of God - no harm can touch them, and they are at peace. Not only that, the love of God has been poured into our hearts. We should not be afraid, for Christ died for us knowing that we are sinners. Salvation is not about being perfect, but accepting the love God offers us. Jesus' incredible love reconciles us with God, not our own efforts or achievements. God loves us completely and channels all things for our good. Jesus does not want to lose anyone whom the Father has given to him - he will drive no one away. His one desire is always to raise us up on the last day. Jesus shares with us all that God has given him. God is indeed generous and kind beyond measure. On this day, let us celebrate the communion of love that binds us all, living and dead, with one another, Jesus the Lord, and God the Father. We have absolutely nothing to fear.

Lord, fill my heart with Your love.

DAILY OFFERING
Eternal Father, I offer You everything I do this day; my thoughts, words, joys and sufferings. Grant that, vivified by the Holy Spirit and united to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, my life this day may be of service to You and to others. I also pray that all those preparing for marriage discover in Sacrament the source of Christ's grace for living a fithful and fruitful love. Amen.
