On one of these days after the Feast of All Saints and the Commemoration of all the Faithful departed, some countries with a long Catholic tradition and some religious communities celebrate another feast in memory of their own saints - for example, a Feast of all the Saints of the Society of Jesus. Such a celebration can be of value even to local Churches which not yet have any or many canonized saints. We must always keep in mind that all are called to be saints even if after death we are not remembered as saints and not canonized by the Church. Through the Resurrection of Jesus, all of us are promised the gift of eternal life in union with God forever. With God's grace and the salvation which Jesus won for us on the cross we will receive that eternal reward, for we can take to heart Paul's teaching: "In him who is my strength I have strength for everything," especially the strength to be faithful in faith, hope and love until the day when Jesus comes in judgement.

Lord, when I experience my weakness, be my strength and my hope and keep me in Your love for ever.

DAILY OFFERING
Eternal Father, I offer You everything I do this day; my thoughts, words, joys and sufferings. Grant that, vivified by the Holy Spirit and united to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, my life this day may be of service to You and to others. I also pray that all those preparing for marriage discover in Sacrament the source of Christ's grace for living a fithful and fruitful love. Amen.

PRAYING WITH THE CHURCH
INTENTION
That the countries which take in a great number of displaced persons and refugees may find support for their efforts which show solidarity.
