We live in a world that oscillates between certainty and uncertainty, and this often heightens the hunger for spiritual belonging, and the desire for personal and social transformation as we seek solutions for our existential crisis. Those who are "spiritual but not religious" explore alternative approaches that allow for self-expression and actualisation, the freedom to calibrate one's moral compass unimpeded by external authorities, to be masters of their own destinies.

The feelings of the disciples at the Last Supper were no different from what many experience in our world today : fear of the unknown. However, instead of giving them temporal and temporary solutions, Jesus is asking them to put their faith and trust in a Person : Himself, the God-made-Man who is 'the Way, the Truth, and the Life.' Their understanding of Him deepened after His resurrection.

The Way that Jesus refers to is knowing the Father's Will for us and following His teachings. He is the Way because He is not an AI or concept created by man. He is the revelation of the love of the Father for us. He is The Truth because His teachings are true and His relationships bear out the truths. In Him, there is no inconsistency between words and actions. It is his singular mode of self-communication. He is the Life because it is through sharing His Passion, Death and Resurrection we gain eternal life.

"Make me know Your ways, O Lord, teach me Your paths. Lead me in Your truth."

DAILY OFFERING
Eternal Father, I offer You everything I do this day; my thoughts, words, joys and sufferings. Grant that, vivified by the Holy Spirit and united to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, my life this day may be of service to You and to others. I also pray that all those preparing for marriage discover in Sacrament the source of Christ's grace for living a fithful and fruitful love. Amen.

PRAYING WITH THE CHURCH
INTENTION
Let us pray that the dignity and worth of women be recognised in every culture, and for an end to the discrimination they face in various parts of the world.
