'Trinity is the Christian name for God.' - Karl Bath. The mystery of the Blessed Trinity is revealed to us in Scriptures and is the central dogma of Christian theology. In attempting to grasp this ineffable truth, the relational analogy of Three Persons wholly and totally united in the communion of love is used - God as Lover, His Son as Beloved and the Holy Spirit as Love that binds them. The Blessed Trinity permeates all aspects of our faith beginning at baptism when we are spiritually reborn and become His children by filial adoption.
What is the Trinitarian shape of Christian life? It is one based on a personal relationship with the Father and the Son through the Holy Spirit; a reciprocated love that enables us to love one another freely, fully and faithfully. This love is transformative, life-giving and sacrificial. This Trinitarian communion of persons in love is tangibly experienced in our families, parishes and communities. There is no room for division, selfishness and individualism. A life lived out in obedience to His commandments and in conformity to God's Will, and our loving service in the sacramental and liturgical life of the Church, leads us to a deeper union with the Holy Trinity.
Trinity Sunday celebrates the communion of love of God in Three Persons as a gift to us not to be understood but to incarnate it in our words and deeds.
Glory be to You God the Father, Son and Spirit in all of our lives.

Eternal Father, I offer You everything I do this day; my thoughts, words, joys and sufferings. Grant that, vivified by the Holy Spirit and united to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, my life this day may be of service to You and to others. I also pray that all those preparing for marriage discover in Sacrament the source of Christ's grace for living a fithful and fruitful love. Amen.
