Teilhard de Chardin, SJ, has profoundly stated that we are spiritual beings having a human experience. Thus, as Christians, we are a single body because we all share the One Bread Who is Christ. This deep spiritual and mystic communion with God and with one another is indeed a pure loving gift from God. It also invites us to spend our authentic discipleship in attentive silence at the feet of the Master, where the grace of the Holy Spirit transforms us or "Christifies " us so that "it is no longer I who live, but Christ Who lives in me" (Gal 2:20). Time spent in the school of God's first language, which is silence, will nourish the soul with wisdom and provide the ensuing loving obedience to the Father's Will.

A deep and strong spiritual life can help us face any challenges of daily life as we confidently place our unquestioning trust in the Father's assuring love. Every choice a person makes is a micro-expression of his or her identity to the world. Jesus did not come to condemn the world but to save it. Hence it is the consequence of the choices we make that will result in our eventual suffering. So ask yourself: "Does my identity reflect the values of Christ and His Gospel? Have I been Christified?" Jesus says: "Whoever hears Me builds his house on rock." Is my life's foundation founded on Christ?

Lord, that I may listen and live.

DAILY OFFERING
Eternal Father, I offer you everything I do this day. I offer you my prayers, thoughts, words, joys and sufferings in union with the Eucharistic sacrifice of your Son Jesus Christ. May the Holy Spirit who guided and empowered Jesus be my guide and strength so that I can be a witness to your love. Amen.
