We often hear about various tragic accidents. At work, during a journey, at home, on the street, people lose their health and become disabled. Many times even long rehabilitation doesn't help to regain eyesight or hearing, efficiency of hands or legs.

We can also say that in paradise, at the beginning of mankind, there took place a horrible accident that made us spiritually disabled people. Out of Adam and Eve's sin we all are stigmatized by the effects of original sin. Our mind is damaged because we continue to learn our whole life and we still don't have enough wisdom. We often make mistakes and it is difficult for us to discern what is good and what is evil. Also our will is often prone to choose evil more than good. Even if we make good resolutions it is difficult for us to fulfill them. We can't control our every emotion and become slaves of our passions. God created us for love but many times our hearts are filled with egotism instead of love.

Today the Church shows us a wonderful sign of hope. This sign is Mary Immaculate. Her heart is so full of God's grace that she remains free of spiritual disability - sin. She shows how our love for God can overcome all our weaknesses and sorrows.

Pray for us, O holy Mother of God that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

DAILY OFFERING
Eternal Father, I offer You everything I do this day; my thoughts, words, joys and sufferings. Grant that, vivified by the Holy Spirit and united to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, my life this day may be of service to You and to others. I also pray that all those preparing for marriage discover in Sacrament the source of Christ's grace for living a fithful and fruitful love. Amen.

PRAYING WITH THE CHURCH
INTENTION
That, faced by the growing expansion of the culture of violence and death, the Church may courageously promote the culture of life through all her apostolic and missionary activities.
