Oraditions are fine, if they serve creation, life, relationships that reflect the image of the divine in us. But traditions must be discarded, overlooked if they do not promote the development of the fully human individual. It is God's commandment of love and forgiveness that is crucial - not what can nullify and break the Word of God.

Created in God's image we have been given dominion over God's material creation. As God rests, and contemplates Creation he rejoices and teaches us how to live: creating and not destructing, imaging not disfiguring, building relationships not causing divisions. Reflecting the goodness of God we rejoice, contemplate and rest with one another in God whose presence we cannot ignore. The systems, traditions and man-made regulations will fade with time but our unique relationship with the Creator God never will.

Bless the Lord, my soul.

DAILY OFFERING
Eternal Father, I offer You everything I do this day; my thoughts, words, joys and sufferings. Grant that, vivified by the Holy Spirit and united to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, my life this day may be of service to You and to others. I also pray that all those preparing for marriage discover in Sacrament the source of Christ's grace for living a fithful and fruitful love. Amen.

PRAYING WITH THE CHURCH
INTENTION
That the Pastors of the Church may always be docile to the action of the Holy Spirit in their teaching and in their service to God's people.
