The early Church was so very powerful and filled with miracles, signs, and wonders. What was the source of this power? It is very clear: sharing, praying with others, the communal meals, the bonds of fellowship and love, and a continual sense of gratitude and generosity.
Let us, then, begin with ourselves and with like-minded people to build a suitable dwelling for our God in our hearts and our communities. We do not see Jesus directly but we love him, and in that way we can see him in one another. No one can be a Christian alone - our faith is to be lived in relationship with other people.
Jesus breathed on his follower s in the upper room and filled them with the Spirit of G. He then gave him their mission - and ours: to do the very same thing that the Father had sent him into the world to do. And what is that? Simply to reveal to the world the God whom the world has never known - the God who is love and light and in whom there is no darkness, violence, hate, or punishment. We can only reveal that God to others by means of how we live and how we treat others. Our goal each day should be to give others some idea of what God is like by the love that we show them.
Lord, may I reveal your love each day.

Eternal Father, I offer You everything I do this day; my thoughts, words, joys and sufferings. Grant that, vivified by the Holy Spirit and united to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, my life this day may be of service to You and to others.
